progress post for bir- CAT?!?!?

Okay a lot has been happening and due to not being in possession of my canvas, I would not have had enough time to complete such a big piece for this project. I instead finished a painting of a cat I started months ago and never got around to finishing. I don't have many progress photos for this since I was planning on this piece being separate from school. I will be returning to the bird for my next project. I had two nights to get this resolved, and you can pinpoint the sections that had to be rushed, and I definitely plan on going back in and fixing them. Additionally, this was my first time painting a backlit subject and I think it was vey successful in the spots I didn't rush, but a lot less so in the spots that I did. I think this would be cute if the cat had a pearl necklace on lol. I also love looking at this painting upside down bc of the expression on the face. I attached a rotated photo to show this.
