Bird Process

This bird has been through a lot... I completely changed direction from how I left this piece off in January, but it is finally starting to come together. Here is what I've done to the canvas in the past few weeks. I am now taking this piece into an arbitrary route. I decided I wanted the background grey, and am going to go in with abstract pops of color at the end. I also am going to tweak the paint job of the grey when I go back in and edit the background. I am also going to go in with some brighter colors and darker darks when the piece is closer to finished.
